you'll have a smooth and stress-free moving experience.
Empty Fridge and Drawers: Prevent spills and damage during transportation by emptying your fridge and drawers before the move.
- Manageable Box Weight: Keep the weight of your boxes manageable for easier handling and to prevent items from falling out.
- Organize Loose Items: Use zip bags to keep loose items organized and prevent any loss during the move.
- TV Protection: Pack your TV in a designated box for added protection during transportation. If you don’t have a box, we can wrap it with blankets.
- Furniture Covering: We use blankets to cover furniture in the truck. If you’d like additional wrapping, please let us know.
- Valuables Safekeeping: Before the movers start, please put any cash, wallets, or expensive items in your car for safekeeping.
- Assistance Welcome: You’re welcome to help with the move to save time and money. However, for safety reasons, you cannot enter the truck. You can bring furniture nearby the truck.
- Loading Priorities: We prioritize big items first, followed by boxes and loose items. We also fill up any gaps on the roof to maximize space.
Elevators Move
Elevator moves can be challenging and time-consuming. Here's why:
- Elevator access: Waiting for availability, loading/unloading, and traveling between floors takes time.
- Multiple transfers: Items are transferred from unit to elevator, then to truck, increasing handling time.
- Limited capacity: Elevators have size/weight restrictions, requiring more trips and time.
- Building restrictions: Specific routes add extra time due to increased distance and handling.
For a Smoother Mover
- Book elevators with a key: Ensure priority access and reduce waiting time.
- Bring small and light items yourself before: Reduce our workload and number of trips.
- Complete assembly/disassembly before we arrive
- Our movers use trolleys and dollies for efficient moving.
Please coordinate with building management to minimize restrictions and ensure smooth access.
